About Us

Heavenly Doodles James Gossard Galloway, Ohio.

image I started breeding dogs more than 45 years ago when I was 10 years old, starting with rare black German shepherds. Over the years I have raised many types of farm animals. I became interested in the Red Standard Poodle line and began a breeding program 15 years ago. I have been hybridizing flowers for more than 25 years and have named and registered more than 825 Daylilies. One of the biggest breeders in the world. You can view my creations at www.HEAVENLYGARDENS.com. In 2017, purchased Opie my first Irish Setter. He was the start of my Irish Doodle line. Our Mother is Sheena, our irishdoodle from Zena (mother-Poodle) and Opie (Father-Irish setter). Sheena was breed to Roscoe our fantastic red male standard poodle. Puppies are F1B. We have a female Irish setter Ellie, she is breed to Roscoe, so we are expecting F1 puppies soon. We have used the best genetics available to produce some of the finest dark red standard Irish Doodles.

Because a puppy is a financial and emotional investment, we pride ourselves in testing and select the proper mate to produce the healthiest puppies possible thereby increasing the value of our breeding program. All have been DNA tested (PawPrint Genetics) to be low shedding. Please read below. Our parents have been tested for known genetic inherited diseases and genetic traits.
